Customer Team Leader


Location: Station Approach, Borough Green, TN15 2AD


Pay: £14.48 per hour


Contract: 20-30 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part time


Working pattern: A mix of opening, closing, and mid-day shifts, with flexibility across the week including at least 2 evening shifts and 1 weekend shift. Either, Friday after 6pm, any shift on Saturday, or Sunday. We're happy to discuss your availability further at interview.

About the Role


Join us as a Customer Team Leader and take the next step toward managing your own store. As a Customer Team Leader, you'll lead a small team in a fast-paced Co-op store, helping to deliver essential services to your community. Depending on your store, this could involve working in our post office or bakery or supporting online services and our home delivery drivers. Whatever the day brings, you'll play a key role in making life easier for our customers.

What You'll Do



  • Own the day-to-day running of the store by leading your team during your shift.

  • Motivate, coach, and support your team to deliver excellent service and efficient operations.

  • Support daily store operations on the shop floor and tills, setting the pace for Customer Team Members.

  • Improve store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes.

  • Engage with the community and promote Co-op membership growth.
