Full Job Description
The Southern Water AMP8 Framework delivers a portfolio of water and wastewater capital projects across Southern Water's region. As Customer and Stakeholder Manager, you'll lead engagement with customers, communities and stakeholders, ensuring they're informed, supported and involved throughout the project lifecycle. You'll coordinate communications, manage enquiries and complaints, and work collaboratively with project teams to minimise customer impacts while supporting the framework's growth.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Customer and Stakeholder Manager, you'll be working within the Southern Water AMP8 framework team, supporting them in delivering excellent customer service and stakeholder engagement across the programme. Your day to day will include:
-Leading customer and stakeholder engagement across the framework and developing a Customer Liaison Officer team
-Managing customer enquiries, complaints, claims and service issues to achieve clear outcomes
-Coordinating communications across Kier, Southern Water and external stakeholders
-Monitoring customer performance and emerging risks, providing insight and recommendations to senior leadership
-Working with project teams to minimise customer impacts and embed customer-focused behaviours
What are we looking for?
This role of Customer and Stakeholder Manager is great for you if
You have proven experience in customer service, customer engagement or stakeholder management, ideally within utilities, construction or infrastructure
-You're skilled at investigating and resolving complaints and customer issues with confidence and clarity
-You have strong communication skills and can build effective relationships across diverse groups
-You have management or team leadership experience and can build, coach and develop customer-facing teams
-You're commercially aware and understand how customer and stakeholder issues can affect project delivery
