Our client, a well-established and growing business based in Derbyshire, is looking for a Customer Service Agent to join their friendly and supportive team. The RoleAs a Customer Service Agent, you'll be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring every interaction is professional, helpful and positive. You'll work closely with multiple departments to ensure orders are processed efficiently and customer expectations are exceeded.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Handling customer enquiries via phone and email
  
  
• Preparing and issuing quotations
  
  
• Processing and reviewing customer orders
  
  
• Updating and maintaining records using Sage ERP
  
  
• Liaising with warehouse and manufacturing teams
  
  
• Tracking deliveries and obtaining proof of delivery
  
  
• Resolving customer queries and issues efficiently
  
  
• Following up quotations and supporting sales activities
  
  
• Building strong, long-term customer relationships
  
  

What We're Looking ForWe're keen to hear from candidates who have:

✔ Excellent customer service and telephone skills
✔ Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
✔ Good organisational and time management skills
✔ Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
✔ High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
✔ A positive, proactive and self-motivated attitude
✔ The ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Knowledge of the electrical contractor, earthing or lightning protection sectors would be advantageous, but is not essential.

Working Hours🕒 Monday - Thursday: 8:15am - 5:00pm
🕒 Friday: 8:15am - 4:00pm
🍴 1-hour lunch break each day
