Join our Fulfilment Team at IKEA Cardiff. We're on the lookout for a Customer Order Picker who can ensure every item is ready and waiting. If you've got an eagle eye for detail, love a hands-on role, and have a passion for perfection, we want you! Please note: Interviews for this vacancy will be held on 12 June. If progressed to interview, it is important you are able to attend an in-store interview on this date.,
- You enjoy a physical, hands-on job - you will enjoy picking out items and flatpack furniture from our warehouse to be delivered to customers.
- You are comfortable using computers and handheld devices to support with the checking of stock and to answer customer questions.
- You proactively look for tasks to be done and use your initiative to complete them in an efficient and effective manner.
- You have an adaptable mindset allowing you to switch between different tasks/areas and work within tight timeframes.
- You work with guidance from your manager to achieve set goals in agreed timeframes using standard ways of working. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
- Picking all our click and collect orders throughout the store and handing them out to our customers, also checking customer order is correct for delivery.
- You ensure products are available to customers by ensuring tasks in your area are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the IKEA Health, Safety & Security Rules & Regulations in your area.
- You work to ensure the efficiency of the fulfilment operation by working in simple, cost-conscious ways, developing, and sharing good examples of ways of working.

- Hourly rate of £12.60 per hour.
- 24 hours a week, 4 shifts a week, including 3 in 4 weekends. Standard shift times will be between 06:00am and 20:30pm.
