Customer Contact & Library Advisor

Please note that the advertised salary for this position is subject to the pending 2026/2027 national pay award. The final salary will be adjusted accordingly once this has been agreed.,

• First point of contact for face-to-face customer enquiries.
• Support library duties including issuing, returning and shelving stock.
• Validate documents (DBS, Blue Badges, certificates, ID).
• Manage challenging interactions and resolve complaints.
• Handle payments and accurately reconcile daily takings.
• Maintain accurate records on CRM and the LMS.
• Represent the Council in a professional, supportive manner.
