Full Job Description
Prepare and cook a wide range of authentic Indian and Bangladeshi curries in line with the restaurant's menu and recipes. Portion fresh ingredients including meat, fish, vegetables, herbs, chillies, spices, sauces and other ingredients required for curry preparation. Monitor the taste, seasoning, texture, portion sizes and presentation of curries and other dishes before they are served to customers. Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and kitchen safety in accordance with food safety requirements and restaurant procedures. Monitor kitchen ingredients and stock levels, arrange replenishment of required supplies and report shortages or wastage to management. Assist with menu development by suggesting new curry dishes, flavour combinations and improvements to existing Indian and Bangladeshi menu item
