Full Job Description

We are seeking an ambitious Curriculum Manager - Health & Social Care to lead and develop our provision for 16-19 learners, including Level 2 and Level 3 Health & Social Care and T Level Health programmes. Working closely with the Head of Faculty, you will provide strategic and operational leadership, ensuring exceptional teaching, learning and assessment, outstanding learner outcomes, and a curriculum that responds to employer needs and regional skills priorities.,

  • Lead and inspire a team of teaching staff to deliver high-quality learning experiences.
  • Drive improvements in learner achievement, attendance, retention and progression.
  • Develop an innovative curriculum aligned with employer and industry needs.
  • Monitor quality through lesson observations, learning walks and performance analysis.
  • Support staff development through coaching, mentoring and performance management.
  • Teach up to 7-12 hours per week, modelling outstanding classroom practice.

  • A degree in a relevant subject.
  • A recognised teaching qualification.
  • Successful teaching and curriculum leadership experience within Further Education or post-16 education.
  • A proven track record of improving learner outcomes and teaching quality.
  • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
  • The ability to analyse data and use it to drive continuous improvement.
  • A genuine commitment to inclusion, safeguarding and delivering excellence for every learner..
