Full Job Description
- Responsibility for teaching in assigned curriculum areas
- Raising standards and promoting the vision, ethos, culture and policies of the school and department.
- Supporting the clear, cohesive leadership and direction in learning and teaching in the faculty area
- Ensuring that high standards of discipline and respect are evident throughout the faculty, supporting colleagues in line with school policies and practice
- Playing an active part in the monitoring of pupils' behaviour for learning, alongside the Head of Faculty
- Supporting the leadership and teaching and learning across the faculty
- Demonstrating accountability through regular meetings with the Head of Faculty
- Demonstrating measurable impact of the work undertaken in the faculty
- Helping ensure all pupils, across all key stages engage in learning and maximise their potential
- Being involved in enrichment activities such as making a contribution to after-school clubs and visits Leaders in this school have created a positive and productive teaching and learning environment where staff have creative autonomy and feel well-supported.
