The School is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced Curriculum Leader of Business, Economics and Computer Science with the highest order leadership skills, to help ensure that this is a truly outstanding school with outstanding provision in this area. We are looking for an exceptional Business, Economics or Computer Science specialist, with the ability to teach up to A Level and the capacity to contribute more widely to teaching across the Team.

The successful candidate will lead an established team, contributing fully to maintaining excellence by inspiring and motivating both staff and students.

In particular, candidates should have:

· The capacity to contribute to the development of the School's ethos

· The ability to inspire and motivate others and to manage change effectively

· High expectations of students in terms of learning, achievement and behaviour

· Enthusiasm for developing innovative approaches to learning, teaching and student participation

· An excitement about the potential of new technologies to transform students' learning experiences

· An excellent track record of teaching and developing GCSE and A Level Computer Science, Economics and/or Business Studies demonstrated through exemplary examination results

· A clear understanding of the current curriculum, assessment and pedagogical developments.
