Full Job Description

  • Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a very varied caseload, to include Cardiac MRI
  • Working with leading practitioners and experiencing new practices, equipment and facilities.
  • Supervising and developing more junior staff members.
  • Providing a service of the highest quality, delivered with sensitivity and compassion.
  • Provide an out-of-hours CT on-call service

    As a Senior Radiographer at our hospital, you'll have a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), be registered with the HCPC, have a postgraduate qualification and high levels of technical knowledge. Ideally, you'll also have Radiation Protection Supervisor training and qualification, as well as the ability to work accurately and compassionately., High levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately, with a great eye for detail.
  • A caring nature - to see each patient as an individual and carry out this role with understanding and empathy.
  • A BSC degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Ideally a postgraduate qualification in CT or MRI, but not essential.
  • Post registration experience relevant to the role.
  • Excellent communication and team working abilities.
