North Lincolnshire Council is seeking enthusiastic and self-motivated Grade 7 Crime Analyst to work within our Community Safety partnership Team and provide support to the delivery of the Crime and Disorder Plan As a Crime Analyst you will be responsible for the provision of and analysis of statistical data, problem profiles and other relevant products that relate to the Community Safety Partnerships strategic priorities and plans. The post will lead the development of the JSIA through liaison with a wide range of partners. The post will also provide daily crime analysis and profiles to support the delivery of key crime reduction process and procedures., We are collectively organised around the people and place of North Lincolnshire. As a Crime Analyst you will be highly motivated and have experience undertaking a range of duties associated with the role. You will need an in-depth knowledge of data management, analysis, and data presentation. It is advantageous if you have experience of partnership working. You will also need to be able to demonstrate excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills along with effective communication, organisational and IT skills. It will be advantageous if you have a knowledge of the current issues and policies around Crime and Disorder and Anti- Social Behaviour. For the role, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development and be able to work autonomously. The post will also be subject to NPPV (Level 3) Vetting.
