Full Job Description

At L'Oréal, we firmly believe that the end of your education doesn't mark the end of your learning. We're passionate about ensuring all our employees are constantly developing their skills with on-the-job learning-everything from courses and networking sessions to in-house training.
You will...
As the Digital Finance & Automation Intern (Project Fast-Track), you will lead a high-impact mission to revolutionize our financial operations. Your primary objective is to design and prototype an automated "bridge" between incoming customer invoices and our internal BPM/Power Apps tools. You won't just be observing digital transformation; you will be the lead architect of a solution that eliminates manual data entry and accelerates our speed-to-market.
Day-to-day you may be...
Process Auditing: Analyzing a variety of invoice formats (PDFs/Excels) from our top 10 customers to identify critical data fields required for our internal systems.
Solution Architecting: Exploring "No-Code" extraction methods, testing Power Automate "AI Builder" for document processing versus structured Excel conversion.
Flow Development: Building automated workflows where users can simply drop an invoice into a folder for automatic data extraction and preparation.
Sandbox Testing: Running end-to-end simulations of your "bridge" to ensure data integrity between the invoice and our Power Apps tools.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Collaborating with the wider Finance and Operations teams to test the tool's accuracy and building "Manual Review" protocols for edge-case invoices.
SOP Creation: Producing professional Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation to ensure the team can maintain and scale your tool after your 10-week tenure.

Technical Curiosity: An interest in "No-Code" solutions, Automation, or the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate/Power Apps).
Analytical Rigor: The ability to audit complex documents and map out structured data fields (Invoice Numbers, Tax, Currency) with high attention to detail.
Problem-Solving Mindset: A desire to "unblock" teams by replacing repetitive manual tasks with elegant, automated solutions.
Logical Thinking: The ability to design "If/Then" logic and error-handling steps for when systems encounter unreadable data.
Proactivity: A "self-starter" attitude with the drive to take a project from initial audit to a fully functioning prototype in 10 weeks.
Digital Fluency: Strong proficiency in Excel and an interest in AI-driven document processing.
