Credit Controller

Our work helps advance scientific discoveries that improve human health, and behind that work are teams ensuring our customers and partners receive the support they need., We're looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join our Accounts Receivable team in Cambridge on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who knows credit control, enjoys building strong customer relationships and is confident working across customer portals to manage accounts, resolve issues and support timely payment., You'll support the Accounts Receivable function, helping to keep customer accounts accurate, payments moving and queries resolved. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and maintaining Channel Partner accounts, including account reconciliation
• Collecting outstanding customer balances and supporting payment within agreed terms
• Monitoring customer credit status, credit blocks and credit exposure
• Managing cash application and payment posting across EMEA accounts
• Using customer portals as part of the day-to-day credit control and collection process
• Issuing customer statements, collection correspondence and dunning letters
• Investigating and resolving account queries, discrepancies and disputes
• Working directly with customers to resolve issues and facilitate payment
• Collaborating across Customer Service, Sales and other functions to maintain a positive customer experience
• Supporting internal and external audit requests
• Maintaining accurate customer account records and following established credit and collection processes
You'll also spend approximately 50% of your working time supporting testing activities for our Next Gen ERP project, giving you the opportunity to contribute to meaningful change alongside your core credit-control responsibilities.


• Previous credit control / Accounts Receivable experience, including the collection of overdue balances
• Practical experience using customer portals within a credit control environment
You'll also bring strong relationship-building skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and tight timescales. The estimated base salary range for the Credit Controller: 6-month Fixed Term Contract role based in United Kingdom is GBP 30,600 - 45,800.The range reflects long-term growth in the role; therefore, most candidates are hired between the minimum and middle of the range. Placement depends on experience, skills, location, and internal equity. This salary range applies to the primary posting location listed above. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range will be updated accordingly.
