We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Credit Controller to join our Finance team and play a key role in supporting the financial success of our Executive Education programmes. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced credit professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and making a tangible impact on business performance. Hybrid Working | Oxford (2 days per week onsite) Full-time | Permanent, As Credit Controller, you will take ownership of debtor collections across a portfolio of Executive Education programmes, ensuring participant fees are collected promptly and effectively. Working closely with colleagues across Admissions, Business Development and Finance, you will help maximise cash flow, reduce financial risk and support an outstanding customer experience. You'll be trusted to manage your own workload, identify potential risks early and contribute ideas that improve processes and ways of working.,

  • Manage the collection of outstanding programme fees and debtor balances.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely payment.
  • Monitor payment plans and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Support sales ledger accuracy through reconciliations and financial administration.
  • Work closely with colleagues to minimise bad debt risk and maximise cash collection.
  • Ensure financial records and credit control documentation remain accurate and up to date.
  • Contribute to process improvements across the Accounts Receivable and Credit Control function.

    You will be an organised and detail-oriented Credit Controller who can confidently manage multiple priorities while maintaining excellent customer relationships.
  • We're looking for:
  • Previous credit control experience.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Commercial awareness and sound judgement.
  • Experience using accounting systems and financial software.
  • The ability to work collaboratively across teams and with customers at all levels.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience of Oracle Financials would be an advantage but is not essential.
