Credit Controller

We are looking for a talented Credit Controller to join our Manchester team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you'll take ownership of proactive credit control, and build trusted relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. You'll join a close-knit, collaborative team within a dynamic Finance organisation where your contribution will be visible, valued, and impactful. What You Can Expect:

• Take ownership of proactive credit control, ensuring full, effective management of the ledger
• Drive performance by achieving monthly KPIs, with a key focus on reducing overdue debt
• Build strong, trusted relationships with customers and internal stakeholders across the business
• Take the lead in resolving queries to secure timely invoice payments
• Investigate and clear unapplied cash, helping to keep our accounts clean and accurate
• Play an active role in Month End activities and reconciliations
• Maintain a well-managed, accurate Accounts Receivable ledger through diligent housekeeping
  
  Are you a finance professional who thrives on building strong relationships and solving problems?, Experience in an Accounts Receivable role and/or a shared service centre (highly desirable)
• Fluency in spoken and written German and English
• A keen eye for detail, with an inquisitive mindset and a passion for problem-solving
