s a Credit Analyst within our Finance Team, you'll play a key role in supporting Group 1 Automotive's credit management processes and maintaining accurate master data across the business. You'll be responsible for reviewing credit proposals, managing supplier and customer master data, and ensuring compliance with company policies and financial controls. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for maintaining accurate financial information. Working within a collaborative finance function, you'll help ensure robust controls are in place while delivering excellent support to stakeholders across our dealership network.   • What you'll do day to day
  • Review and validate credit proposals in line with Group 1's credit management policy
  • Ensure all credit and master data requests are actioned accurately and within agreed timescales
  • Maintain open and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Take ownership of Sales Ledger Master Data activities
  • Set up new supplier accounts within Keyloop DMS
  • Submit and monitor bank detail verification requests
  • Amend supplier payment terms within company systems
  • Process supplier account adjustments accurately and efficiently
  • Replicate supplier and customer accounts across multiple DMS platforms
  • Conduct supplier validation and compliance checks
  • Support the cleansing and maintenance of supplier account records
  • Ensure all activities are completed in line with SOX compliance requirements
  • Maintain accurate records and audit trails for all master data updates
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the Credit and Master Data function
  • Assist with ad hoc finance-related projects and reporting requirements
  • Work in accordance with the Company's working capital, cash management, and Delegation of Authority (DOA) policies

    Previous experience in a Credit Control, Credit Analyst, Master Data, Finance Assistant, or similar finance role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Experience working with financial systems and databases
  • Knowledge of Keyloop DMS would be advantageous
  • Good understanding of credit management principles and financial controls
  • Experience maintaining customer and supplier master data
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work with stakeholders at all levels
  • Understanding of SOX compliance and audit requirements would be beneficial
  • Proactive, reliable, and able to work effectively within a team
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
