Creche Assistant

To ensure the creche area is safe and clean for use at all times. To control and supervise children in the area and ensure their safety.
To ensure the creche operation is in line with the Clubs Normal Operating Procedures.
To ensure the highest possible standards of Childcare are provided at all times. The Creche Assistant will focus day to day on the following tasks:
Ensure the continued safety and security of all children using the creche, and take responsibility for users of the creche in an emergency.
Deliver activities for creche users, promoting children's welfare through participation, and supervise them at all times.
Supervise children whilst they use the toilet facilities, ensuring relevant PPE is available and maintained.
Act as a key worker for children settling into the creche as required.
Ensure the children are returned to their parents or guardians.
Constantly examine all equipment, materials and areas that are used and through the unit fault reporting system report any defects or hazards immediately to your line manager.
Liaise with parents to ensure correct information is provided on all aspects of their child's care.
To follow the requirements of the Child Protection Policy.
To attend training and development as required.
To undertake any other duties appropriate to the role as required by the facility management.

Ideally qualified to Level 3 EYFS minimum Level 2 EYFS
Pediatric First Aid
Flexibility with working patterns
