Cover Supervisor

The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to play an integral role in supporting teaching and learning in school. The successful candidate will provide high-quality cover support for lessons and tutorials across the curriculum and support with various duties throughout the school day, including break and lunchtime supervision. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to gain or develop school-based experience. The purpose of the role is:

• to ensure the smooth running of cover lessons in the Learning Computer Centre (LCC) and classrooms
• to cover the Back on Track (BoT) facility and to supervise internally excluded students
• to assist the pastoral team with administration work

• have energy, stamina and a sense of humour, Under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016, the Public Sector fluency duty requires state funded schools to ensure candidates for their customer facing roles have the necessary standard of spoken English.
  
  Salary: starting at £26,879.07 per annum rising annually to £28,458.83 per annum (Scale 4 inclusive of Outer London Weighting)
Hours: 36 hours per week (7:45am to 3:30pm, Monday to Thursday and 7:45am to 3:15pm, Friday, term-time only plus INSET days Contract: Permanent,
