ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT
BAND C SP3 - 4
19.50 hours per week
Actual Salary £11,264 - £11,440 pa
Required as soon as possible.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic administrator to join our busy school office team.
You will have experience in general administration tasks, customer service, cash handling, have a knowledge of word and excel, be organised and able to manage your time effectively.
Excellent literacy and numeracy skills are a requirement for this role with at least a GCSE/GCE/O Level of CSE Grade 1 or equivalent.
You will have a polite manner, and will be the first point of contact in the School Reception and on the telephone for our parents, professionals and the general public.
Experience in a school setting, and knowledge of SIMS, FSM, ParentMail, School Attendance and Data Protection would be desirable, but training will be provided.
Whilst we do work closely as a team, you will be required to work on your own initiative, in a fast moving environment.
The position will be for 19.5 hours per week term time only (38 Weeks). The working pattern is Wednesday, Thursday, Friday's from 8:30am to 3:30pm with a 30 min lunch break.
You may be required to work additional hours for staff training, staff absence, busy periods etc for which additional payment can be claimed.
