Introduction
North Leamington School, a part of the Elm Tree Multi Academy Trust (ETMAT), is looking to appoint an outstanding Cover Supervisor to join our successful secondary school. The role involves providing high-quality classroom supervision and positively impacting student learning and wellbeing. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, dedicated individual eager to make a difference in students' lives and education.
If you are considering a career in teaching and would like to gain paid experience in a student-facing role before fully committing, or simply have a passion for supporting secondary school students’ learning and development, this role offers valuable experience.
Role Responsibilities
Our committed Cover Supervisor Team plays a vital part in school life, supporting teachers and pastoral staff by addressing student needs, supporting overcoming barriers to learning, and enabling students to reach their full potential.
The role includes providing short-term cover for absent teachers, supporting the Tutor Programme, mentoring students, and supervising during lunchtimes or breaks when required.
Candidate Profile
We seek candidates with a love of learning, confidence, assertiveness, and a positive presence around students. No previous experience is necessary as full training will be provided. An understanding of working with children and safeguarding policies is desirable.
