Full Job Description
As a Cover Supervisor, you will lead classrooms and maintain a positive learning environment during short-term teacher absences. You will also play a key operational role by collaborating with HR to coordinate daily staff cover.,
- A great chance to work with a strong, fun enthusiastic team providing high-quality cover during the short-term absence class teachers, actively engaging with the class, to contribute to raising standards.
- Opportunity to work across all departments and roles of the Academy.
- Contribute to the planning and evaluation of work set for covering lesson.
- Provide valuable feedback on learning activities and contribute towards development planning.
Good educational background with excellent written and oral communication skills - Experience of subject background and working within the education sector
- Knowledge of using different IT software such as Microsoft Office, Email
- interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and professionally with staff, students, parents and outside agencies.
- Positive and enthusiastic approach with the ability to work within a team as well as on own initiative.
- Knowledge of the need for confidentiality and awareness of child protection issues
- Flexibility of working hours, committed and reliable with excellent timekeeping
