You will not be expected to plan or deliver new content, but your presence, authority and professionalism will play a key role in maintaining continuity and routines for students.

Our staff are committed, caring and united by a belief that every student deserves excellence. They support one another, share best practice and work with openness, accountability and teamwork. This culture is fundamental to our improvement journey and makes Newent a supportive and welcoming place to work.

· Has strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with young people.

· Can manage behaviour calmly and consistently, using authority, clarity and empathy.

· Is organised, adaptable and able to think on their feet.

· Has experience working with children or young people, or brings transferable skills from roles such as youth work, training, coaching, customer service, care, or team leadership.

· Is reliable, professional and committed to high standards.

Most importantly, you will embody and promote our HEART values, Honesty, Excellence, Accountability, Respect and Teamwork, and understand the importance of your role in supporting learning, consistency and student success.

Why Join Newent?

· A supportive and collaborative staff culture.

· Clear systems and expectations to help you succeed in the role.
