Cover PA

I'm a 39-year-old male looking for a supportive, organised Personal Assistant to provide cover and back-up support on a bank basis. The role would involve helping with telephone calls, paperwork, and preparing for appointments. As this is a cover/back-up position, flexibility and availability when needed would be important.

The duties and support provided would be the same as my existing PA role, including helping me plan steps, rehearse conversations, and build confidence so I can approach tasks feeling calm and prepared. Some light help around the home may be needed, but no personal or medical care is required.

Knowledge of the benefits system would be helpful, though not essential. The overall goal is to support me in getting into employment and the community, building social skills, increasing independence, and thriving.

I enjoy deep conversations about topics such as cooking and budgeting, as well as spending time outdoors, exploring the environment, and visiting coffee shops. I'm looking for a patient, non-judgemental person who can encourage independence while offering steady and consistent support.

This is a bank/cover position, so the hours may vary depending on when cover is required. The successful person would ideally be flexible and able to step in when my usual PA is unavailable.

Duties include:

Reliable with good timekeeping

- Hygienic, tidy and well organised

- Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills

- Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard

Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
