We are looking for: Course Leader and Lecturer in Computing Salary: £39,799.20 - £44,767.56 + £2000 Course Leader responsibility allowance An exciting opportunity has arisen at University Campus Oldham (Higher Education at Oldham College) for a Course Leader in Computing. As Course Leader and Lecturer, you will be responsible for the academic leadership of our suite of Computing courses which include Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQ), and for teaching a range of modules within the disciplines of Computing and Cyber Security. You will be an enthusiastic and friendly professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a commitment to providing an excellent student experience. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of Computing and be confident teaching undergraduate students at Levels 4-6. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to develop their academic career in a small and friendly environment, whilst utilising their vocational skills background to enrich the student experience. The successful candidate will have a passion for collaboration with employers and professional bodies and a proven record in inspirational teaching at HE level and have a demonstrable commitment to teaching and learning excellence. This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week which has a teaching commitment of 630 hours per academic year.
