Full Job Description
Working with the Heads of Portfolio, the post holder will contribute to the annual EDI action plan to enhance the student offer and support the wider development of the Trust's education and training portfolio, including digital and blended provision., National Workforce Skills Development Unit which worksclosely with Health Education England (HEE) to address key workforce challenges inthe wider healthcare workforce.,

- Clinical/professional qualification in Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy and eligibility for full membership of the Association of Child Psychotherapists
- Masters level qualification or equivalent experience
- Evidence of continuing personal development
- Advance HE/HEA Fellowship/PG Cert in Higher Education or equivalent or a commitment to applying for fellowship within one year, UK recognised Professional Doctorate or PhD or equivalent Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy
- Management/leadership qualification, Significant post-qualifying experience in child and adolescent psychoanalytic psychotherapy in a public sector
- Substantial experience of course organisation and teaching at postgraduate level or equivalent experience, including managing placements
- Experience of managing a complex network of relationships, interfacing with a range of external agencies
- Understanding of and commitment to the value of difference in experience in a training context and of overseeing inclusive teaching, learning and assessment strategies
- Substantial experience of working as an educator, Experience of managing staff
- A research and publication record, Capacity to work efficiently to specified timeframes.
- Capacity to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Ability to support, develop, supervise and undertake course management responsibilities
- Ability to develop new training/education initiatives and contribute to business development initiatives including digital/blended delivery
- Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to work within complex organisations with varying and at times conflicting roles and tasks
- Commitment and aptitude to explore opportunities for digital innovation in pedagogy and develop personal digital capabilities and those of staff team and students
- Effective IT skills - extensive knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office packages, VLE's digital platforms such as Skype, GTM
- Ability to inspire and motivate trainee clinicians/students to design studies and carry them out successfully
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Planning and organisational skills including the development and implementation of specific training programmes
- Ability to work with complex agendas across NHS, social care, and academic systems
- Leadership skills - including capacity to influence, negotiate and manage conflict and barriers to change
- Ability to formulate and present reports
- Monitoring and evaluation skills
- Capacity to represent the organisation in other forums, Knowledge and experience of a range of evidence -based approaches to working psychoanalytically in a range of applied settings
- Knowledge of local, regional and national policy and service frameworks for mental health and education, with particular regard for child and adolescent psychoanalytic psychotherapy
- Knowledge of the infrastructure requirements for delivering postgraduate and/or professionally accredited programmes of study, including academic governance and quality assurance processes, A demonstrable interest in, commitment to and understanding of a psychoanalytic approach to learning and teaching
- Ability to work on own initiative

We are looking to recruit a dynamic and experienced Course Lead for this established Master's course which is offered in London as well as in centres across the UK and Italy. You will need to have a relevant qualification in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy and be registered with the Association of Child Psychotherapists. Experience in the delivery of education and training, ideally including some element of course leadership would be very advantageous. Working with a committed team of clinical educators, the postholder will have responsibility for all aspects of course delivery including the student experience, staff and financial management. The course is of three years' duration with teaching taking place on a Wednesday when you would be required to work. The course also runs on Monday and Wednesday evenings and Saturdays.,
