Full Job Description
- Daily unloading inbound stock (either curtain siders and sea containers),
- Storing stock into correct locations
- managing periods of space shortages in our yard and warehouse with initiative, calm, and common-sense, due to the fact we are growing/outgrowing our existing site
- order picking for daily orders, preparing stacks of product for despatch (pallet wrap and/or banding, labelling etc.)
- loading external hauliers and daily pallet network vehicles with the day's orders. Additional duties will include
- regular stock-taking,
- reporting of damages/issues to the office staff,
- providing banksman guidance to visiting HGV drivers,
- occasional jet-washing of old stock for orders
