Counsellor

We are looking for a skilled Counsellor to join our team on a part-time basis, working one day a week during term time. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in expanding and enhancing our therapeutic support, making a meaningful difference to the lives of our students. This role will offer high-quality, evidence-based counselling that supports students wellbeing, using a Positive Behaviour Model to assess needs and deliver targeted interventions. A day in the life of a Counsellor would include:

• Contributing to the development of the counselling service
• Providing tailored and person centred speech counselling support to students
• Recording accurate case reports
• Promoting expertise and best practice through training, modelling and coaching colleagues
• Participating in self reflective practice and using this guide to continuous development
