Bennett Hay is looking for an experienced and passionate Corporate Head Chef to lead the kitchen team at a busy and prestigious corporate site near King's Cross St Pancras. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong leader who enjoys delivering high-quality food in a fast-paced environment. The role involves overseeing a busy staff restaurant offering breakfast and lunch service, alongside hospitality and events catering with a variety of seasonal and creative menus. You will manage a team of 4 and play a key role in maintaining excellent food standards, kitchen organisation, client satisfaction, and team development.,
- Lead and manage the day-to-day kitchen operation within a busy corporate environment
- Deliver high-quality breakfast, lunch, hospitality, and event catering services
- Create and develop fresh, seasonal, and varied menus
- Manage, support, and motivate a team of 4 kitchen colleagues
- Maintain excellent standards of food presentation, quality, hygiene, and health & safety
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company procedures
- Build positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and service partners
- Support stock control, ordering, wastage management, and kitchen administration
- Contribute ideas for menu innovation and continuous service improvement
Previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef within corporate hospitality, staff dining, or premium hospitality environments - Strong leadership and team management skills
- Experience managing hospitality and events catering alongside restaurant service
- Passion for fresh food, creativity, and high service standards
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Strong understanding of food safety, HACCP, and kitchen compliance procedures
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a busy environment
- Level 3 Food Safety qualification preferred
