Experteer Overview As an Associate in Deloitte Legal, you will support domestic and international M&A transactions, contributing to the One M&A strategy. You'll work with a diverse, multi-site team and leverage technology to enhance delivery. You'll draft and review core transaction documents and perform legal research while managing multiple deals with clients and cross-service line colleagues. This role offers exposure to a broad client base and a chance to shape the future of Deloitte's legal practice. Pay / Benefits

  • Support all aspects of M&A transactions including due diligence, deal structuring, negotiations and closing Contribute to the development and implementation of the One M&A strategy across Deloitte Utilise technology and AI in day-to-day work and encourage the team to do the same Draft and review a range of transaction documents (SPA, APA, disclosure letters, SHAs, ancillary documents) Conduct legal research and analysis on complex issues Manage multiple projects and transactions with effective prioritisation and deadlines Build and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues and stakeholders Participate in business development to grow the Deloitte Legal practice Tasks Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales Strong academic background with a minimum 2:1 in Law or equivalent Solid experience in M&A with a track record of advising on complex deals Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business drivers Ability to work independently and as part of a team Key requirements flexible/hybrid working wellbeing focus career development world-class development and learning opportunity to work with cross-functional teams
