- Job Title - Core Business Support Officer
- Location - Sandwell Council House, Freeth Street, Oldbury, B69 3DE
- Salary - Band D, SCP 9-17 (£27,254 - £31,022 per annum)
- Contract - 12-month Fixed Term/ Secondment
- Closing date - 8 September 2026
- Interviews - W/C 28 September 2026
- Hours - 37 Hours per week
We are looking for someone who will enjoy working as part of a team supporting Regulatory Services.
You will be self-motivated, taking a proactive approach to your work organising and prioritising your workload and be driven to meeting deadlines.
You will be expected to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team, demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail, and always deliver excellent customer service.
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Hold GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Have a minimum of 2 years' experience working within a business support/administrative environment
- Advanced fluency with Microsoft Outlook and Office Programmes
- Be confident working in a high-pressure environment, managing competing priorities
- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders
