You will

• The Cook is responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, hygienic environment in line with all health and safety, COSHH and food hygiene and handling legislation.
• Ensuring all dietary requirements, allergies, and preferences are followed.
• Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen to a high standard following meal preparation.
• Completing all required kitchen documentation, including cleaning records and temperature checks.
• Adhering to food hygiene, health and safety, and infection control procedures.
• Reporting any stock shortages, maintenance issues, or concerns to the management team.

We're seeking people who are caring, patient, and respectful, with a positive and resilient approach. You should be confident working independently and within a team, have good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities, and be flexible and reliable. The successful candidate will need to hold a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate or be willing to undertake the training immediately upon appointment. Previous experience in a catering, kitchen, or care environment would be desirable.
