Full Job Description
- Cooking and preparing fresh, nutritious meals to order for patients and their loved ones, Living Well Centre attendees, visitors and staff.
- Supporting the catering of internal events and fundraising functions.
- Ensuring dietary requirements, preferences, and religious and cultural needs are met.
- Maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene and customer service at all times.
Do you have a passion for cooking well-balanced, nutritious meals and want to use your skills in a role that truly makes a difference - without working late evenings?, Previous catering experience is essential. Experience in healthcare, hospice or charity settings is desirable but not required. - Food hygiene certification is desirable; training can be provided if needed.
- Good communication skills, a positive and professional approach, and the ability to work flexibly to meet patient needs. You should be organised, reliable, and comfortable working as part of a supportive team.
- Due to the hospice's remote location and limited public transport links, candidates must be able to travel to and from the hospice independently.
