Full Job Description
We are looking for a Cook to join our Catering Team at Sheffield Children's Hospital. If you are hardworking, energetic and passionate about delivering high-quality, freshly cooked food to our patients, visitors and staff, we would love to hear from you., Reporting into the Catering Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:
Prepare and cook fresh meals to a high standard, supporting the delivery of a safe and nutritious catering service.
Support a busy hospital catering environment, ensuring excellent service for patients, families and colleagues.
Assist in the planning and costing of menu's and stock orders
Provide technical catering advice, guidance and training to other catering staff, Housekeepers and clinical staff members as required.
A positive, enthusiastic approach to work
Experience in cooking in a professional or high-volume environment
Ability to work well within a team
Commitment to maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards
