37.5 hours per week5 out of 7 Days£12.92 per hourSodexo RewardsCheck your local transport links here: Plan Your Journey | Traveline- OX18 3LX.About the role:Position: Cook at Sodexo,RAF Brize Norton, Carterton, OX18 3LX.We are seeking a skilled and motivated Catering Chef / Cook to join our team.The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving high-quality food in line with company processes, systems, and hygiene standards.You will follow approved recipe cards and menu cycles to ensure consistency, quality, and portion control, while supporting a smooth and efficient catering service in collaboration with Service Catering Personnel (SCP).This role requires strong attention to detail, compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations, and effective use of digital systems to support a modern catering operationWhat you'll do:Prepare, cook, and serve food in line with approved recipes, menu cycles, and company standardsMaintain high standards of

quality, presentation, portion control, and food safety at all timesMonitor and record food waste and temperatures in line with compliance requirementsEnsure a clean, safe, and compliant kitchen environmentUse digital systems effectively to support service deliveryFollow correct procedures for ordering, receiving, storing, and handling food itemsComplete opening, closing, and handover procedures as requiredMaintain professional relationships with customers and colleaguesAttend required training, meetings, and briefingsReport hazards, incidents, or equipment faults promptlyWork across all areas of the site as directed by managementWhat we're looking for:Essential:Experience in a similar role within the service industry at a comparable levelOne of the following qualifications (or equivalent):BSc (Catering)MHCIMHNDCity & Guilds 706/1 and 2NVQ Level 2 or 3Knowledge of health and safety regulationsStrong attention to detail and ability to follow standards preciselyDesirable:Experience
