This role as a Cook at Agincare Homes Holdings in Dursley offers a challenging opportunity to learn new skills and deliver great food, while working closely with the team to provide a high quality of life for residents. The position involves menu planning, understanding dietary needs, and managing the day-to-day running of the kitchen., As a Cook with Agincare, you will be responsible for menu planning, working with the home manager and residents to develop and implement menu ideas. You will also be required to understand and meet the specific nutritional and dietary needs of the residents, including modified food textures and allergies. Additionally, you will be the main point of contact for the kitchen, responsible for stock management and maintaining high hygiene standards.,

• Knowledge of the IDDSI framework or supporting complex dietary requirements is desirable.
• Please note that this is a bank contract
• Must be flexible to work weekends and/or during the week when needed between the hours of 7am-4pm
A day in the life of a Cook
• Menu planning -Collaborating with the home manager and our residents' requests and wishes, you will be able to develop and implement menu ideas. Our homes are always having themed days and events where you can showcase your skills and creativity.
• Understanding dietary needs - You will work closely with the wider staff to ensure we are meeting our resident's specific nutritional and dietary needs including modified food textures and allergies.
• Kitchen Management -You will be the main point of contact for the kitchen and responsible for the day to day running of stock management and hygiene standards

Are you experienced in catering and managing dietary requirements?, A background within kitchens and understanding of how to run a professional kitchen, A minimum of 12 months' experience in a kitchen environment and an understanding of how to run a professional kitchen is required.
