Contracts and Programme Monitoring Officer

Warwickshire County Council is seeking a Contract and Project Monitoring Officer to support the delivery of the Connect to Work programme across Warwickshire.

In this role, you will work closely with Programme Managers and partners to monitor projects and contracts, ensure compliance with funding and statutory requirements, and track performance, expenditure, and outcomes. You will lead on verifying grant claims, supporting audits, managing monitoring systems, and maintaining strong relationships with delivery partners and funders.

You will bring experience of project or contract monitoring, strong financial and data analysis skills, and a good understanding of grant funding, procurement, and performance reporting. Experience within employability, skills, or economic development programmes is desirable.

This is a high impact role offering the opportunity to contribute directly to high-quality programme delivery that supports residents into employment and skills progression

The post is based at the Warwickshire Skills Hub in Nuneaton, with county wide travel and visits to neighbouring authorities anticipated., The Fluency Duty is outlined in the Code of Practice on the English language requirements for public sector workers.
