Contracts Manager

The North Midlands and Black Country Procurement Group (NMBC) is comprised of The University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust (UHNM), The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust (RWT), Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust (WHT), The Black Country Pathology Services (BCPS), North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust (NSCHT), Black Country Healthcare Foundation Trust (BCHFT), Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT) and Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (MLCSU)., Support the Head of Procurement - Commercial Contract Management in the development, implementation and success of the departments objectives. Manage contract performance practice through the development of governance strategies, setting targets and indicators. Negotiate contractual issues ensuring all procurement processes are adhered to. Analysis of purchasing activity data to identify contract development opportunities.

• oQualified to CIPS NVQ Level 4 or equivalent CIPS knowledge and/or experience which can be demonstrated using experience and knowledge, oContract management experience
• oStrong purchasing skills and depth of experience across a range of supply/service areas., Ability to analyse complex information, interpret and/or present in a clear, comprehensive format
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  
  The NMBC is responsible for all aspects of Procurement, Supply Chain and wider Commercial support to the aforementioned organisations covering a range of Acute, Mental Health, Community, Pathology Networks, GP Practices and Commissioning Support Units across the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent, Black Country, Shropshire and South Cheshire Integrated Care System (ICS's). With almost 200 staff, 55,000 customers and managing a total non pay spend portfolio of over £1.2b per annum the NMBC is one of the largest and influential Group Procurement Organisations (GPO's) in the NHS.
These posts sit in the Commercial Contract Management team and is based at the Royal Stoke Hospital site, reporting to the Head of Procurement- Commercial Contract Management within the NMBC., University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust is one of the largest and most modern in the country.
