The GLA, as the tier-one authority in London, has duties under Part 4 of the 2021 Act to support victims/survivors of domestic abuse and their children in relevant safe accommodation. The duty comes with revenue funding from MHCLG of circa £20m a year to ensure the effective delivery and performance of MOPAC contract and grant agreements with Pan-London providers delivering Domestic Abuse Safe Accommodation to survivors., The Contracts and Grants Performance Officer (DA Duty) is responsible for ensuring the consistent delivery of MOPAC grants and contracts to meet the priorities set within the Police and Crime Plan and the Mayor's Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) Strategy 2025-2029. This role will support the team in the management of a Pan-London portfolio assessing performance monitoring information, supporting collaborative stakeholder relationships, and contributing to processes and procedures to ensure the effective delivery of contract and grant agreements. The post holder will also support the delivery of the Mayor's Domestic Abuse Safe Accommodation (DASA) Led 'By and For' grants fund, as part of the first phase of new commissioning under the refreshed DASA Strategy (2025-28). We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised and highly motivated. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to operate in a busy and complex political environment and experience of working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders. - Ensure the effective delivery and performance of MOPAC contract and grant agreements focusing on value for money, compliance and good outcomes.
- Build effective working relationships with providers, promoting accountability, risk management and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the development of new processes and procedures to ensure the effective delivery of contract and grant agreements across the Directorate., Candidates wishing to apply must upload their CV accordingly, complete their personal profile and answer the supporting questions. - Experience of supporting contract and grant management within a service delivery environment.
- Excellent written and spoken English and demonstrable experience of providing briefings and other written materials.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage various processes simultaneously, prioritise workloads and work with others to deliver quality products.
- Attention to detail - ensure that processes are followed effectively and be responsible for maintaining a high standard in work delivered.
- Exceptional ability to communicate, build relationships, influence and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders, and other technical professionals.
