Full Job Description

The Contracts & Commissioning Manager is a senior role within the Commercial & Growth Directorate, responsible for managing Healthcare Ireland's entire contracts portfolio and leading the Group's commissioning relationships with local authorities, Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), NHS commissioners, and other statutory funders across England, Scotland, and Wales. Reporting to the Commercial & Growth Director and managing a Contracts Assistant, the postholder ensures that every contract Healthcare Ireland holds is accurately recorded, actively managed, commercially optimised, and fully compliant, and that the Group's relationships with commissioners are strong, strategic, and well-positioned to secure and grow commissioned business.

This is a commercially and technically demanding role that requires a thorough understanding of the social care commissioning landscape across multiple UK jurisdictions, strong contract management discipline, and the relationship management skills to engage credibly and constructively with commissioners at all levels. The postholder works closely with the Commercial Finance Managers, Marketing Manager, Finance & IT Director, Quality & Governance Director, and Regional Directors to ensure commissioning and contract activity is integrated with the Group's wider commercial, quality, and financial strategy.
