Full Job Description

The Contracts Assistant is an important administrative and operational support role within the Commercial & Growth Directorate, providing the Contracts & Commissioning Manager with accurate, well-organised, and timely support across the full range of contracts management, commissioning administration, fee rate management, and tender activity. Reporting to the Contracts & Commissioning Manager, the postholder plays a key role in ensuring Healthcare Ireland's contracts portfolio is well-maintained, that commissioner correspondence is managed efficiently, and that the administrative foundations of the contracts and commissioning function are consistently robust.

This is a varied, detail-oriented role that requires strong organisational skills, a methodical approach to data management, and the ability to handle a wide range of administrative tasks accurately and to tight deadlines. The Contracts Assistant will develop a good working knowledge of social care commissioning and contracts over time, and will be an important source of administrative support and capacity that enables the Contracts & Commissioning Manager to focus on the strategic and relationship-driven aspects of the role.
