Contract - Oracle Cloud P2P Consultant

We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle Cloud Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Consultant to deliver end-to-end implementation services across the P2P cycle. The successful candidate will configure and deploy Oracle Purchasing, Sourcing, Supplier Portal, and Supplier Qualification Management solutions for our clients. This is a critical role, focusing on delivering a high-quality P2P solution for a large-scale government transformation project. This is an initial 6-month contract with the opportunity for extension, offering a chance to make a significant impact on a high-profile programme. Your role and responsibilities: As an Oracle Cloud Procure-to-Pay Consultant, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle delivery of Oracle P2P solutions in public sector client environments. The role requires deep functional expertise in the Oracle Fusion P2P module and involves extensive collaboration with clients, stakeholders, and technical teams to design and implement effective solutions.,

• Lead P2P process area managing and working closely with offshore resources in P2P area.
• Solution Design: Analyse business requirements, design functional solutions, identify technical components, develop functional specifications that align with the Oracle P2P.
• P2P Processes: Configure and support core P2P processes.
• Configuration & Deployment: Lead the setup and deployment of Oracle Fusion Oracle Purchasing, Sourcing, Supplier Portal, and Supplier Qualification Management.
• Collaboration: Close collaboration with other Finance and Procurement Process Areas like General Leader, Intercompany, Enterprise Structure, Projects, Payables, Expenses, Assets, Lease Accounting, HCM Process Areas, Tax, Risk and Controls, Technical etc. for end-to-end integrated solution.
• Implementation: Manage the full lifecycle of an implementation project, from build and testing to defect resolution and post-go-live support for P2P Process Area.
• Data Migration: Review and support client and data migration team with data for migration into the Oracle Fusion P2P modules.
• Reporting & Compliance: Ensure the P2P solution complies with internal regulations and supports the generation of required reports. Support client and reporting team with reporting requirements and functional design documentation.
• Integration: Review and support integration team with P2P integrations and functional design documentation.
• Testing & Support: Develop and support test scripts for unit, system, integrated, and user acceptance testing.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Provide functional, technical and accounting advice to business users and stakeholders, facilitating workshops, meetings and discussions related to P2P processes.
  
  Strong knowledge of purchasing documents, approval workflows, and supplier management.
• Experience with procurement punchout.
• Familiarity with Oracle supplier model and sourcing processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address issues and proactively find solutions.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with business stakeholders, functional and technical teams and project leadership.
• Strong management skills; good with status reporting and familiarity tools like Jira/Confluence for project management.
• Ability to travel to client sites across the UK as required, in addition to the regular Birmingham office presence.
• MUST BE A UK NATIONAL with a minimum of 5 years residency.
