Contract Management Officer

As a Contract Management Officer, you will have an important role in the management of the Council's contracts and development of effective supplier relationships. You will also work closely with commissioners and managers to support them in their contract management duties.

A key element of your role will be to ensure that the corporate Contract Management Framework is applied across all contracts. The post holder will also support the delivery of our new Procurement and Contract Management Strategy. You will recognise that the best way to achieve our objectives are through developing effective relationships and working collaboratively with a wide range of colleagues, including Procurement and Warwickshire Legal Services, and supplier representatives.

You will rapidly develop an understanding of both the performance of your contracts and of the supply markets in which they operate. Using this knowledge, you will develop positive working relationships with our suppliers, ensuring best value is achieved in all areas through efficiency, innovation and control. You will shape the performance management mechanisms within service specifications and monitor and validate provider performance., We recommend submitting your application as soon as possible.
