Contract Account Manager

The role will be based from our Preston Depot, with regular customer visits across the North West region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of contract customers, both locally from Preston and some remote accounts. Key responsibilities will include:
• Managing and developing existing customer relationships
• Growing existing accounts and identifying new sales opportunities
• Building strong commercial relationships with customers
• Overseeing contract customers linked to the Preston Depot and remote locations
• Achieving agreed sales, margin and growth targets
• Identifying opportunities to increase revenue and customer value
• Working closely with internal teams including depots, buying and supply chain to deliver excellent customer service
• Developing new business opportunities and supporting long-term customer growth
  
  Experience within sales, account management or customer development
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• A commercial mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities
• The confidence to manage customer relationships independently
• A full UK driving licence
