Full Job Description

Bears Street Food is a growing, family-run street food and events business providing catering for festivals, weddings, corporate events, private parties and other events. This is a hands-on, creative role where no two days will be the same. You will be involved in filming, photography, video editing, social media management and content planning. You'll capture everything from food preparation and cooking to busy events, our catering vans and the people behind Bears Street Food. As a Content Creator Apprentice, you will:

  • Attend events and catering jobs to capture content
  • Take photographs and videos of our food, vans, team and events
  • Create engaging TikToks, Instagram Reels, Facebook posts and YouTube Shorts
  • Capture behind-the-scenes content and customer experiences
  • Film food preparation, cooking and serving
  • Edit photographs and short-form videos for social media
  • Help plan, schedule and publish content
  • Research current social media trends and identify opportunities for new content
  • Suggest creative ideas for videos, campaigns and social media posts
  • Help promote our menus, catering services and upcoming events
  • Monitor social media performance and learn from what works well
  • Respond to and engage with our online audience where appropriate
  • Keep our photography and video library organised
  • Work with the Bears Street Food team to understand and deliver content requirements
  • Manage your workload and complete content tasks within agreed deadlines
  • What We Offer
  • A Level 3 Content Creator Apprenticeship with Barnsley College
  • Full on-the-job training and mentoring
  • Real experience working for a growing food and events business
  • The opportunity to attend festivals, weddings, corporate events and other events as part of your role
  • The opportunity to build a professional content portfolio
  • Experience creating content for a real brand
  • Support from experienced members of the Bears Street Food team
  • A friendly and creative working environment
  • The opportunity to see your ideas put into practice
  • Potential opportunities for progression within the business after successfully completing the apprenticeship
  • Why This Role? This is an opportunity to start your career in content creation while working in a fun and fast-moving environment. You could be filming a food preparation video one day, creating content at a wedding the next and capturing a busy festival at the weekend. You'll be right in the middle of the action, gaining experience with real customers, real events and a real growing brand.
