Full Job Description

ARAG UK Group is expanding and is seeking a Contact Centre Advisor to join our customer-focused team, supporting our commitment to access to justice. Based in our Bristol office, just a short walk from Cabot Circus with excellent transport links, you will be working from bright, modern offices alongside experienced and supportive colleagues. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a career with a leading provider of insurance and legal services. In this telephone-based role, you'll be a first point of contact for policyholders and business partners, managing calls and emails with empathy, clarity and professionalism. You will provide guidance, reassurance and accurate information, while working closely with colleagues across our claims, law and legal advice teams to support positive customer outcomes. This role plays a vital part in the smooth running of our claims and legal services. We are looking for someone who enjoys helping people, takes pride in delivering great customer service and is keen to develop new skills. From day one, you'll be supported with a structured training programme, ongoing coaching and support to build a long-term career within ARAG.

We're looking for someone who is keen to build a career in a customer-focused environment and is motivated by delivering positive outcomes for customers. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills, with a clear and confident telephone manner and strong active listening ability. You will be comfortable communicating at all levels, building effective relationships with customers, business partners and colleagues, while working collaboratively as part of a team and confidently on your own when required. This role would suit someone who can demonstrate the above as well as the following:

  • Excellent communication and active listening skills, with the ability to engage confidently and professionally
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring information is captured and recorded correctly
  • Confident using computer systems and programmes in a fast-paced environment
  • Committed to delivering high-quality service and achieving positive outcomes for our customers

ARAG UK has been helping businesses and individuals gain access to justice for over 40 years. It's our founding principle to enable everybody, not just those who can afford it, to assert their legal rights.
  • Thousands of businesses and individuals defend or pursue legal action each year safe in the knowledge that ARAG are paying their legal bills. Our businesses include a legal expenses insurance company and a law firm with many opportunities in both areas. We have always been aware that it's the people that really make it happen; the quality of our people defines the quality of the company, the service we offer and the good outcomes for our customers, so we're committed to creating a great place to work for our employees. We believe it is an exciting time to join ARAG. You can expect an organisation that will challenge and develop you to progress your career. By giving you every opportunity to develop yourself professionally and personally, we also pride ourselves on having an open, inclusive and high energy culture that encourages a fun working environment and places our customers at the very heart of everything we do. If you are keen to become part of our exciting future then we would love to hear from you. In addition to the very genuine development opportunities we provide we also offer a generous reward and benefits package.

We offer a range of excellent benefits designed to support you and your lifestyle including:
