Consultant Urologist- Robotic Prostate & Pelvic Cancer

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe medical establishment provides the following staff within the urology department: Ten Consultant urologists (2 on SLA contracts with The Christie NHS Foundation Trust from Northern Care Alliance and Manchester NHS Foundation Trust) Seven Uro-Oncology specialist nurses and one ANP Five Middle grades (2 Specialist trainees, 3 Clinical/Research Fellows plus visiting International Fellows) Five Secretaries The appointee will be based at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Withington, Manchester, although he/she may be required to provide an outreach clinic at other partner sites within the Greater Manchester area. consultant will also provide senior input to the management of patients with prostate cancer.Continuing Professional Development (CPD)The Trust supports the requirements for CPD as laid down by the GMC and royal colleges and is committed to providing time and financial support for these activities.
