Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon (with interest in Paediatrics)

We are seeking to appoint a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with a subspecialty interest in Paediatric Orthopaedics. The successful candidate will be fellowship trained and have the skills and experience to manage the full spectrum of trauma and orthopaedic conditions., The postholder will play a key role in delivering and networking orthopaedic services across Lancashire, working collaboratively with regional partners to support the development of cohesive, high-quality trauma and orthopaedic care. The successful applicant will complement the existing team of established consultants and work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team (MDT) within the Trauma and Orthopaedics Directorate.

Services are provided from our two main sites, the Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospital and Burnley General Teaching Hospital and from our community rehabilitation wards at Pendle Community Hospital, Accrington Victoria Hospital and Clitheroe Community Hospital.
