Consultant (Strategy & Analytics)

Role OverviewWe are seeking a Consultant to join our Strategy and Analytics team! Consultants on our team are typically engaged on one to two client projects at a time, serving as both individual contributors and providing oversight to more junior project team members. Our Consultants are responsible for conducting research, performing data analysis, and developing compelling presentations while owning day-to-day relationships with client stakeholders. In this role you will develop actionable strategies and communicate recommendations to internal and external executive stakeholders. You will bring a highly motivated and entrepreneurial mindset to Cartesian and you will leverage your analytical and intellectual curiosity to solve complex business problems in a fast-paced, supportive, and fun environment.

What You'll Bring4-7 years of relevant work experience in strategy consulting, professional services, corporate or business strategy, financial or economic analysis, data analysis, and/or strategic marketingBachelor's degree with a preference for quantitative course workExperience successfully leading projects, both independently and in collaboration with clients or internal stakeholdersProficiency in presenting and effectively communicating research and analysis using PowerPointExperience structuring and executing research and/or data analysisPassion for problem solving and working with dataAbility to work both independently and collaboratively within a teamCreative mindset and drive to develop innovative solutionsExcellent time management and organizational skillsThe ability to proactively set priorities and execute effectivelyStrong attention to detail in both data analysis and communication A strong interest in the Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) industry Additional Skills We ValueMBA or equivalent advanced degreeExperience managing and training junior team membersCommunications sector knowledge including demand, competition, technology, operations, and regulationsExposure to data visualisation tools such as Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau, and/or QGISKnowledge of data process design and automationDeep knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas: Data analysis involving large datasets/Market and competitive research/Marketing, including customer segmentation, loyalty and churn management/Financial analysis and modelling/Corporate and business strategy
