Full Job Description
The appointee will, together with consultant colleagues, be responsible for the provision of a comprehensive Rheumatology Service.
The successful candidate will work flexibly and co-operatively with other members of the team in order to provide a high quality, comprehensive service within this teaching hospital environment. To minimise travel between sites the job plan has been designed to ensure that wherever possible the successful candidate will be based at one site each day.
The successful candidate will work according to the terms and conditions of the new consultant contract. We are looking to continue our work as a Specialised Rheumatology centre., Please refer to the supporting job description and person specification which will outline the duties of the role including an indicative job plan.
The successful candidate must be registered with the GMC with a valid licence to practice. For further information please visit the GMC website and click on the Registration and Licensing link. You will also have completed Specialist Training (or equivalent) and be entered on the Specialist Register of the GMC, or have a CCT date within six months of the date of interview.
