Full Job Description
Provide plain film reporting, ultrasound, MRI and CT work, timetabled as per the contracted schedule.
Agree on a job plan and work programme; the timetable is open to negotiation and will dovetail with other consultants' commitments.
Work flexibly within a 7-day service; participate in the 1 in 16 on-call rota, covering evenings and weekends as specified.
Teach and supervise specialty trainees, clinical fellows and non-radiology junior staff and allied health professionals.
Attend cancer and non-cancer multidisciplinary team meetings as appropriate.
Engage in clinical governance and audit; contribute to the Directorate Clinical Audit Programme and participate in quality improvement projects.
Partake in post-graduate education and CPD, including attendance at internal and external academic lectures.
Encourage and support research activities; contribute to the Trust's Research and Development Committee.
Benefits and Working Conditions
Full-time contract includes 1.5 Programmed Activities (PAs) for Supporting Professional Activities, potential for additional SPA, and one PA for 7-day working.
The radiology department operates as part of the Diagnostic and Support Services Division and provides a supportive, collaborative environment.

We are seeking to appoint a Consultant Radiologist to join our friendly and dynamic team at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust.
Applicants must have full registration with the GMC with FRCR (or equivalent) and either be eligible for inclusion on the GMC's Specialist Register or be within six months of obtaining their Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) at the date of interview.
